This webpage is all about the ways in which Jamu Wild Kids Ltd T/a Jamu Wild Water collect, use, and share your personal information (also known as data!).

Jamu Wild Kids Ltd also owns this website (www.jamuwildwater.co.uk) and downloadable resources.  For more about who we are, including our address, you can check out our Adult Privacy Policy – just keep scrolling down to find it.

This policy also explains what rights you have to access or change your personal data.

At Jamu Wild Water, we take your privacy and your responsibility to protect your information very seriously and will take care in the use and handling of your data.

If at any point you have questions about your privacy on our website, ask a parent to help you go through this document and work out what’s going on.

That’s all you need to know about privacy, but if you want to read on, let’s go!

So, what information are we collecting?

Our website is for purchasing Jamu Wild Water products, education, and for sharing wild and wonderful ideas to encourage and inspire healthy outdoor lifestyles.

It’s important that you obtain parental consent to register for the site if you’re under the age of 16. With their permission, you can then join in with posting material, competitions, and downloads.

We collect your information when you:

  • create an account in our website
  • enter our competitions
  • interact or contact us by letter, phone, SMS, email, or via our website
  • submit contributions via post, social media or the website

While doing these things, you might provide us with other data, such as your name, address, phone number, birthday, downloads, the type of device you’re using to connect to the internet, and the subjects that you’re interested in.

We use this data to provide you with information, improve your website experience, or reply to your questions.

We make sure that all of this information is stored safely and securely.

In return, you need to make sure that your password, if you know it, is not shared with anyone except from a parent or guardian, and is kept safe.

We also collect certain information about how you use the website, and the device that you use to do this. This includes things like how long you visited the website for, things you might have searched for on the website, and your rough geographical location (e.g., England). We use this information to make our website better for you.

If you click on something from another website, such as a YouTube link, while you’re on our site, then that website may be able to get similar information from your device.

We do not control these websites and are not responsible for them.

The only time we would ever share your data with a third party (another website or company), is to help you receive information from them. Specifically, this will only happen if you win a competition or similar event, and they need your contact details to send you a prize, or if there is a problem with your order or delivery.
